1. Be passionate about continuous professional development (CPD) as it gives therapists an opportunity to develop their skills within your salon. By training them you will build a relation of trust and will make sure their level of knowledge gets to the quality you want for your business.
2. Encourage creativity. There will be always new ideas or new perspectives on things. Listen to your staff as they might have practical knowledge of the preferences of the clients that can be turned into great business ideas.
3. Communication is the key. Listen to their feedback and ideas, and allow them to drive some of those ideas into practice.
4. Make it a team effort. Recognizing hard work, encouraging and listening to their needs and suggestions can lead to great staff morale. A team is always more efficient than a single individual.
